Stitches are coming out soon...

My stitches are due to come out this Friday afternoon. I can't wait to see what my foot looks like (I like gross stuff...LOL) but I'm scared to death to have the cast taken off. I'm afraid the bones in my foot will be like mashed potatoes. But my pain level has dropped significantly in the last week so I'm hoping that means that it's healing well and nothing will go moving around when the cast comes off. I'll update with pics of my "Franken-foot" after the appointment.
