Mobility

Obviously when you're having this type of extensive foot reconstructive surgery you can't place any weight on your foot for a prolonged period of time (6 weeks is what I've been told at this point). So I borrowed some crutches from a friend and began to practice. Unfortunately I'm not as graceful as I would wish to be and the crutches don't seem to be the safest option. So I've opted for a knee scooter instead. I ordered it online and it arrived yesterday. It's actually much nicer than I had originally thought it would be and quite well made. Although, I may have to fight the kids for it because they think it's pretty cool. I'll still have to use the crutches to navigate the two steps up into the house but with the help of my dear husband, I think I should be able to handle that without breaking any other bones. LOL
